Are Smart Air purifiers better than other air purifiers?<\/h6>

Smart Air purifiers use the same cleaning principle as most other air purifiers. The technology behind air purifiers is not complex, and readily available. However, Smart Air is the only air purifier company committed to transparent communication through open-data. We avoid overcomplicating our air purifiers with high markups and marketing gimmicks. What room size is suitable for the Sqair?<\/h6>

The Sqair is recommended for rooms of 380 sft (36 sqm) in size or smaller. Even in a 380 square feet room, the Sqair is able to clean all the air in the room over 3 times in just 1 hour on high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For larger areas, consider the SA600<\/a> or one of Smart Air’s professional air purifiers, the Blast or Blast Mini<\/a>, which have a higher Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Why does the Sqair not have a pre-filter?<\/h6>

After conducting tests, we found that adding a pre-filter will reduce the CADR. Additionally, if the pre-filter is not replaced in time, it will cause the purifier to be louder and effectiveness to lower. Since the pre-filter will add trouble to the user, we decided not to add a pre-filter in the Sqair..<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What is the difference between the Sqair Chemical Warfare and the Sqair?<\/h6>
\n

Both models of the Sqair include a HEPA filter, which is extremely effective at removing particles (allergens, viruses, dust, PM2.5, etc) from our air. The Chemical Warfare version also includes an activated carbon filter (in addition to the HEPA filter) which helps reduce odors and dangerous VOCs gas in the air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smart Air’s range of carbon filters<\/a> absorb VOC\u2019s (Volatile Organic Compounds) such as formaldehyde, paint thinners, petroleoum fuels, or dry cleaning agents. Carbon filters also remove odors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Long Can a Sqair Last?<\/h6>

We recommend replacing the HEPA filter every 3 months in Bangladesh. But the truth is the exact time depends on many factors such as the amount of hours used and local pollution levels. How can I protect myself from the high air pollution levels in Bangladesh?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bangladesh, and especially Dhaka, has one of the highest air pollution levels in the world<\/a>. During the winter season it is common for AQI to average between 200 (very unhealthy) and 300 (hazardous). Outdoor air pollution drastically affects air purifier performance<\/a> \u2013 even when used indoors. When outdoor air pollution is bad, purifiers achieve a smaller percentage reduction and it becomes harder to reach safe levels indoors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
