In 2013, we created a small social enterprise called Smart Air. We set up as a social enterprise because we are not driven by the single goal of making big profits, but by a mission to help protect people from the harms of air pollution.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

In 2018, Smart Air became a certified B Corporation. We\u2019re proud to be one of only a handful of Certified B-Corps working and operating in China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does this mean? It means that we\u2019ve been independently verified by B Lab<\/a> for our social, environmental performance, transparency and accountability.<\/p>\n\n\n

The air purifier industry is incredibly opaque yet critical for people\u2019s health. Companies charge obscene amounts for technology that was invented over 80 years ago. We created Smart Air to bring transparency and open data into an opaque industry. We provide simple, honest purifiers to air breathers (like us) who just want to breathe safe air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
