The Sqair is one of the most cost-effective air purifiers in its class. The Sqair HEPA has a CADR of 315m³/hr † packed into a sleek, modern design. Never before has clean air looked so good. The Sqair Chemical Warfare has an additional carbon filter to help eliminate odours and comes with an optional HEPA H13 filter (see below for details). For HEPA only, click here to view our standard Sqair air purifier. We are open with our data and produce our technical specs on all speeds.
Description

What makes the Sqair special?
As a B-corp social enterprise helping the world breathe clean air, we designed the Sqair because we were tired of the gimmicks and BS from current air purifier companies. The Sqair gives you far more clean air at a fraction of the cost of the purifiers from those “big guys”.
How did we do this? We cut out the fancy marketing gimmicks such as ionisers and photocatalytic filters that science shows can actually make your air worse. We designed the Sqair for performance, not marketing ploys. The Sqair is data-backed and is excellent at one thing: cleaning air. And it does that better than its competition.
One of the most POWERFUL purifiers in its class
Packing a powerful clean air delivery rate (CADR) of 315m³/hr †, the Sqair HEPA generates more clean air than most of the competition. The Sqair is suitable for spaces up to 40 m² (430 sqft), the size of a one bedroom apartment

Figures for when both carbon and HEPA filters are used (Chemical Warfare version)
1) 30mins, 2) 2 ACH, 3&4) We don’t have the figures for all speed settings
One of the QUIETEST purifiers in the market
On high, it sounds like soft rainfall. It is up to 12 decibels quieter than the hugely popular Dyson purifier, yet provides more clean air and costs less

Blows the competition out of the water on both price and effectiveness
The Sqair gives you the most clean air per pound than most of the purifiers in the UK

Like all HEPAs, captures virtually 100% of viruses, bacteria, PM2.5 and other dangerous pollutants

Why do we recommend a HEPA E11 grade filter for the Sqair?
We ran tests for different grades of HEPA filters when designing the Sqair, and we found that the HEPA E11 filter actually produced the best clean air result for the Sqair. If you’d really prefer a higher grade filter, we offer the Sqair with H13 HEPA but we highly recommend the Sqair with a HEPA E11 filter across its full use of applications. Please note that changing from the standard HEPA E11 to HEPA H13 or adding a carbon filter (Chemical Warfare) will reduce the CADR. As you can mix and match filters, we quote the standard CADR which is the optimum you can always achieve by choosing to replace with just the HEPA E11.
* All Smart Air filters are certified to GB13554-2008 (now updated to GB13554-2020) & GBT6165-2008 standards. This is the Chinese equivalent of EN1822 / ISO29463 and is independently tested.

* The GBT 18801 standard recommends replacing HEPA filters after effectiveness drops to 50% of its initial value. The lifespan will vary depending on the pollution levels in your city. We conducted lifespan tests in Beijing. We calculated the UK lifespan from W.H.O. air quality data as a rough guideline for users in the UK.
† The standard Sqair filter is a HEPA E11 (95%). We selected this grade HEPA as it outperformed the higher grades. We offer optional variations of HEPA H13 (99.95%) filter and/or carbon filter in our Chemical Warfare version but note the airflow and CADR will be different:
- H13 filter: Top CADR 225m³/h, Airflow 520m³/h
- Carbon filter: Top CADR 190m³/h, Airflow 480m³/h (note if you choose not to replace the carbon filter as you no longer have a need for it, the spec will be as shown in the main table for the HEPA version)

Mike –
My family are very pleased with the Sqair Purifier and had it assembled and working within a few minutes. It already helps getting rid of cooking fumes and it is quite pleasing to look at.
Steve –
Lovely machine that helps our son with his hay-fever. Very quiet and stylish looking

Perfect air cleaner. Noticed difference very quickly. Very well designed simple device. Sturdy material used to last long without any silly electrics which would go wrong early. Filters are decent size for the air volume passing through it. Noise level is very acceptable at lowest setting obviously the more speed more noise at setting 2 and 3 but at 1 you can sleep easily. Great idea to sign up for the every 3 month filter delivery as this helps to keep its top performance all time. Maybe some splash proof top would be a good idea as it could improve its safety in families with small children. Overall it is a great and well worth product. Thank you Airbon, Alex

Love love love our square. We are plagued by air polluting log burners in our neighbourhood and their secondary smoke regularly enters our house. Even with all windows and doors shut our indoor pm2.5 monitor regularly turns red when the air outside is off the scale. Ten to fifteen minutes with our square and the monitor is back to green. Using the square in combination with our outside/inside air pollution monitors has turned a desperate situation for our family (one who is asthmatic) into a manageable one. Looks good too!

Product feels solidly built and is easy to assemble. The simple controls (off and 3 speed levels) and the lack of LEDs are an advantage in my view, but if you want bright blue lights, sensors and/or internet connectivity for some reason, this isn’t for you. It’s a box containing a fan and a filter. Nothing this size will ever be silent at the highest air flow rate, but this is one of the less noisy units in its class. On the lowest fan speed it’s unobtrusive and still makes a meaningful difference to the air quality in a normal sized room. It’s hard to know how much benefit the carbon filter adds, how long it will last or how much it reduces the air flow rate (not so much that it’s obvious, at least). The option of a washable pre-filter in place of the carbon filter would be a useful addition and might prolong the HEPA filter life in dustier environments. Overall 5/5 as I haven’t found a better air purifier for general domestic use.

love it

Have used in the office and its noticeably quieter than the more expensive competitor we had. Very tolerable on level 2 but you wouldn’t want it too close on level 3. If you blow smoke (vape) into it nothing visible comes out – so it seems to work.
David –
This is an elegant and easy to use device. It sits quietly in the room. Very impressed with the service from Airbon too. I like buying from people who know what they are talking about.
Fiona –
I’m Really happy with my purchase of the Sqair Air Purifier, it has a high CADR and looks good in the home, Easy to use with 3 settings yet light enough to move around the home easily (i even take it to family with me) I feel safer with the extra protection this provides for clean air. Highly recommend
James –
Very good, the air filters were delivered very quickly and have helped to contain a Covid outbreak in my home.
Robert –
It’s an excellent air purifier and I can’t fault it!
