Thus, is it reasonable to think that the Blast HEPA will last 20 times as long? Not really, because the Blasts push more air and clean bigger rooms, so they\u2019re capturing more particles. Thus, when we calculated the longevity, we took the higher airflow into account to get these estimates:<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Final-table-supple-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"516\" height=\"231\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7113 \" srcset=\"https:\/\/smartairfilters.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Final-table-supple-1.png 905w, https:\/\/smartairfilters.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Final-table-supple-1-300x134.png 300w, https:\/\/smartairfilters.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Final-table-supple-1-768x344.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 516px) 100vw, 516px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>But there are more problems. These theoretical values don\u2019t account for other differences, like the fact the Blast and Blast Mini have pre-filters, which should increase the lifespan of the HEPAs.<\/p>\n<p>For that reason, it\u2019s best to check these theoretical equations against <a href=\"https:\/\/smartairfilters.com\/blog\/how-long-do-hepa-filters-really-last\">real-world tests on Blasts<\/a> that have been used in Beijing air. The results from the two methods were nearly identical.
