Highly recommended. I’m still trying to survive the COVID-19 pandemic and this little air purifier has helped me feel more reassured about my safety. I let it blow towards me while I wear my N95 mask on public transport and in crowded areas. Relatively quiet and I can’t hear it when there’s background noise. Love the cute design, it’s lightweight, and has a convenient handle. Only downside is that it has small gaps next to the filter that might leak unfiltered air, but it’s easily covered with tape (DIY). I heard some customers have received extra accessories for covering the gaps, which I didn’t receive but I haven’t asked about it (for context, I purchased from Australian distributor). Thank you for this awesome device.

Very easy to use, not noisy. Small and light enough to be held on a lap facing you during medical appointments. Using it in a hospital waiting area gave me the confidence to be there. Good battery life but get a powerbank for longer than 2hrs use.

Perfect size, smart looking and light. Good battery life. Can also run using USB C cable. Quiet too. Very quick delivery.

Why doesn't the Sqair have a pre-filter?

Pre-filters can reduce airflow and increase noise by adding an extra layer of resistance. While this trade-off is worthwhile in some air purifiers because it helps extend the life of the main filter, our testing showed it wasn’t the right choice for the Sqair.
After running multiple performance tests, we found that adding a pre-filter reduced airflow and increased noise, while offering only a minimal improvement in filter lifespan. To maximize clean air delivery and keep the Sqair quiet, we chose not to include a pre-filter.

What's the difference between the Sqair and the Sqair Chemical Warfare?

Both the Sqair and the Sqair Chemical Warfare feature a medical-grade HEPA filter that effectively captures airborne particles such as dust, pollen, allergens, viruses, bacteria, and PM2.5.

The Sqair Chemical Warfare includes an additional activated carbon filter, designed to reduce:

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), including formaldehyde and other harmful gases
Household odors
Chemical fumes from products such as paints, fuels, and dry-cleaning agents

If your primary concern is airborne particles, the standard Sqair is an excellent choice. If you also want protection against odors and chemical pollutants, choose the Sqair Chemical Warfare.

How long does the Sqair last?

The Sqair is designed with simplicity and durability in mind.

During development, we continuously stress-tested multiple units for over 10,000 hours on the highest fan speed. Based on these tests, we’re confident the Sqair is built to provide reliable performance for at least 10,000 hours, and in normal use, it will often last much longer.
