Blast Mk II Air Purifier
Commercial air purification designed for real working environments.
High Airflow. Low Distraction.
Designed for occupied spaces like classrooms, offices, and shared workspaces, the Blast Mk II delivers powerful, quiet air purification for large spaces up to 114 m² (1,227 ft²)
Big Filter + Optimized Airflow = Quiet Power
Smaller filters require faster fans and create more noise. Blast’s oversized HEPA filter moves more clean air with less resistance, keeping noise low even in large spaces.
Quiet Power for Large Spaces
Delivers high airflow for rooms up to 114 m² while keeping noise levels low enough for classrooms, offices, and shared spaces.
A larger HEPA filter surface reduces airflow resistance, helping Blast clean more air with less noise.
Optimized for Real-World Spaces
The Blast Mk II is the ideal balance — powerful for large-sized shared environments like classrooms, small clinics, dental offices, kindergartens, and studios. Professional performance that feels approachable.
High CADR for Large Spaces
With a CADR of up to 950 m³/h, Blast delivers powerful air cleaning for classrooms, offices, and commercial environments.
Durable All-Metal Body
Built with a robust metal body for long-term reliability in demanding commercial and high-traffic environments.
Easy to Move, Secure in Place
Durable lockable wheels make it simple to reposition Blast while keeping the unit stable during operation.
Optional Activated Carbon Filter
Add the activated carbon filter to reduce formaldehyde, VOCs, smoke, and unpleasant odors, providing comprehensive protection against both particles and airborne chemicals
Equipped with an H13 air filter capturing over 99.95% of viruses, bacteria, PM2.5, and other harmful pollutants in one pass.
Say Bye to Pollutants
PM2.5 (Fine Particles)
Captures fine airborne particles like dust, smoke, and pollution that can affect daily breathing comfort.
Dust
Everyday household particles made of skin cells, fibers, and debris. The purifier helps reduce airborne dust before it settles on surfaces.
Allergens
Triggers like pet dander, dust mite particles, and other irritants that can cause sneezing, watery eyes, or breathing discomfort.
Pollen
Outdoor particles that easily enter your home through windows and clothing. The purifier helps reduce pollen exposure indoors, especially during allergy season.
Mold Spores
Microscopic spores released by mold in damp environments. Removing them from the air helps reduce musty odors and supports a healthier breathing environment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are Smart Air purifiers better than other air purifiers?
Smart Air purifiers use the same cleaning principle as most other air purifiers. The technology behind air purifiers is not complex, and readily available.
However, Smart Air is the only air purifier company committed to transparent communication through open data. We avoid overcomplicating our air purifiers with high markups and marketing gimmicks. Smart Air purifiers are honest, data-backed, and streamlined to do one thing: clean air.
Can Smart Air’s purifiers filter COVID-19?
HEPA filter air purifiers like Smart Air’s have been shown to filter out COVID-19 viruses, and lower transmission. View the CDC data on how HEPAs reduce COVID-19 transmission here.
What pollutants does the Blast Mk II filter?
Smart Air purifiers’ HEPA filters capture many types of particulate air pollution, including nanoparticles as small as 5 nm (1/10th the size of the COVID-19 virus) to 30 µm (the size of pollen). The whole range includes viruses, bacteria, PM2.5, PM10, pet allergens, dust, and mold.
An additional activated carbon filter can be added on top of the HEPA filter in all of Smart Air’s products. The carbon filters can absorb VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) such as formaldehyde, paint thinners, petroleum fuels, or dry cleaning agents. Carbon filters also remove odors.
Learn which filters you need in our in-depth guide on air purifier filters.
Where should I position my Blast Mk II air purifier?
Smart Air tests show the position of an air purifier in a room does not matter, as long as 1) The air purifier is at least 6 inches (15 mm) away from the wall. 2) The air purifier is strong enough for the room it is in.
How to know when it is time to replace the Blast Mk II’s HEPA filter?
We recommend replacing the Blast Mk II filter every 21 months. But the truth is the exact time depends on many factors such as the number of hours used and local pollution levels. The most accurate way to determine when to replace a HEPA filter is to use an air quality monitor. Learn More: How to use an air quality monitor to test a HEPA filter
