Why did the filter light turn on so early?
The SA600 uses a filter check light, not a strict replacement timer. It turns on after about 1,045 hours of use. In places with lower pollution levels, filters can often last much longer — up to 3,100 hours in some environments. Simply check the filter when the light comes on and replace it only if needed.
Can I wash the SA600 pre-filter?
Yes. The pre-filter is washable and should be fully dried before reinstalling. You can also vacuum it using a sealed HEPA vacuum. Cleaning the pre-filter regularly helps extend the life of the HEPA filter.
Why does the SA600 use so little power on low and medium speeds?
The SA600’s dual-inlet design allows it to move air very efficiently. That means it can deliver strong performance while using as little as 3W on low and 9W on medium.
Can I use the SA600 without the carbon filter?
Yes. You can remove the activated carbon filter or choose not to replace it if you only want HEPA filtration.
Will removing the pre-filter increase CADR?
Only slightly — about 1%. The pre-filter is important because it captures larger particles and helps protect the HEPA filter, extending its lifespan.
Why doesn’t the SA600 include a built-in air quality monitor?
We recommend using a separate air quality monitor for more accurate readings and flexible placement around your home.
Does the SA600 remember its settings after power loss?
Yes. If power is interrupted, the SA600 will automatically restart at the same fan speed once power returns.
Can the SA600 be wall-mounted?
Yes. The SA600 can be mounted vertically or horizontally using the built-in screw holes. Mounting hardware is not included.
Why do I need to press the button twice to change settings?
The control panel automatically dims after a few minutes. The first press wakes the panel, and the second press changes the setting.
How do I keep the lights on permanently?
By default, the lights dim after 30 seconds. To keep them on, press and hold the Fan Speed button for 5 seconds until the lights flash once.
