Clean air in your office and hospitals
The Blast HEPA protects you from Delhi pollution
India’s air pollution is a serious problem. Even though the COVID-19 lockdown had reduced air pollution, Delhi air still remained above WHO limits, and cities like Kolkata and Mumbai saw no major improvement in air quality.
The Blast’s HEPA filter effectively traps particles like PM2.5, dust, pet fur, viruses, and mold. You won’t have to worry about your allergies or asthma any longer!

Blast HEPA’s massive area captures 99.95% of pollutants
The Blast HEPA filter is huge — 20 times the size of our Original DIY HEPAs.
We tested over 10 different HEPA materials before deciding on using an H13, 99.95% grade HEPA filter. That means it can capture 99.95% of those particles above (and below) 0.3 microns!

Are HEPA filters effective against COVID?
A common concern is whether HEPA filters can filter viruses like the COVID-19 coronavirus. HEPA filters remove particles greater than or equal to 0.3 microns, but virus particles are smaller. The coronavirus measures 0.06 to 0.14 microns in diameter. Are air purifiers then powerless against viruses?
Actually, HEPA filters actually work great at capturing viruses. This is because a HEPA filter works not like a net, but through a process called diffusion. Learn more about how this works here.
How often should I change the HEPA?
We tested a HEPA in real Beijing air for 200 days to get a sense of how long HEPAs last in real Beijing air.
Based on that data, Paddy estimated a HEPA lifespan of 2280 hours for the Blast. This is roughly equal to 12 months at 8 hours of use every day. If you use it more or less, you can calculate lifespan using the total number of hours below.

Can I wash a dirty HEPA filter?
Unfortunately not. We ran experiments to test this and found that washing HEPA filters do not prolong their lifespan. In fact, washing HEPA filters with water actually decreases performance. That’s why we recommend you replace your Blast HEPA filter after the maximum hours of use.
At ₹13,499 for a year of clean air, the Blast HEPA offers you the best prices for clean air.
Time to change the HEPA?
You’ll only need to change it every 22 months, but we still tried to keep things simple.
