Our founder Thomas realized it in 2013 when he wasn’t able to afford an air purifier. After some research, he noticed that air purifiers are just fans and filters. That’s it. We don’t need more to breathe clean air.
Ever since this is Smart Air’s message to the world: clean air is simple.

Air purifiers are simple.
But big air purifier companies want you to believe something else. They don’t make profits with simplicity. That’s why they use flashy marketing and add pointless gimmicks to trick us into spending too much on fancy-looking machines.
Smart Air promotes the simple fact that air purifiers are just fans and filters to create no-nonsense machines, that remove the same particles as the big companies for a fraction of the cost.

We believe everyone has the right to the tools and knowledge required to breathe clean air. That’s why we reach out to the world to explain the simple science behind air purifiers and clean air.
So far, we’ve hosted more than 600 educational workshops across Asia with more than 20,000 attendees. And all of them learned how to build their own air purifier.

Unlike other companies, we are fully transparent with our data. More than 30,000 hours of testing went into the development of our machines. The results of our findings belong to the public so everybody can make up their mind and make informed decisions.
