We recently conducted a short survey among our social media followers and the results highlighted the growing awareness and concern for indoor air quality among travellers;

• 85% prioritise air quality when choosing an accommodation, and

Even in seemingly clean rooms, guests could get more than they bargained for with chemicals from cleaning supplies and air fresheners; bio-aerosols from previous guests and staff; airborne pollutants such as dust, mould spores, pollen, etc. The latter two can remain suspended in the air for up to 16 hours.
