Blast/Blast Mini placement brackets

Description

The Blast and Blast Mini placement brackets are designed to optimise the distance from the inlet of your unit to ensure maximum airflow efficiency. When mounted at the recommended distances from the wall, the brackets help you achieve 100% airflow levels.

Airflow performance tests in the Smart Air lab:

• 5% airflow when placed flat against the wall
• 94% airflow at a distance of 4cm away from the wall
• 100% airflow when placed 12cm away from the wall

Placement brackets ensure the purifier is never accidentally backed up to the wall When we designed the Blast, it was optimised at just 12cm from the inlet (16cm from the furthest point) ensuring a smaller footprint overall when floorspace is a premium. We tend to find manufacturers hide this placement distance in manuals so not always known prior to purchase and in some cases, not at all if customers don't look at the manual. Astonishingly, some air purifiers come with a recommended distance of up to 1 meter for maximum performance!

Installing your Blast/Blast Mini placement bracket is quick and easy. Just follow these simple steps:

Placement guide:

• Remove both screws from the two sides of the pre-filter at the back.
• Now, align the longer side (16cm) of the bracket with the pre-filter and use the screws provided with the brackets to secure it back into place, attaching the brackets to the purifier.
• The right-angle can be positioned inwards or outwards; the illustration here shows it positioned outwards.

For permanent placement, you can use these brackets to affix to the wall. Follow the instructions above to attach to the unit. Use the holes in the shorter side to mark drill holes, then secure to the wall using the screws provided. Make sure the brackets are firmly attached for stability.
