What is the difference between a KN95 medical mask and a KN95 non medical mask? I am confused
Is testing a KN95 by putting a small amount of water inside the mask, and looking for leakage a valid test? No leaks with 2 minutes = reliable, Leaks within 2 minutes = unreliable?
About ‘Nose piece’, a respected name as 3M also fails on that one. They break way too easy, plus their ear elastics hurt the my ears (physically flaps them). Why not add a a more comfortable stretching string? Maybe create an article that reviews select good brands and warn for the most obvious bad ones out there.
Thanks for your information and tests. Lots of people are buying cheap kn95 respirators (70 cent of euro/mask on Aliexpress) but don´t know that maybe less than a half are reliable. In Spain some health workers got infected because of defective respirators.
I agree with your finding ,that the mask producer have come with out infrastructure to test there mask from time to time.
The laboratory required to test N95 /KN95 are as expensive as the production plant.
