You left one HUGE critical piece of information out of your column. Volcanoes, unlike Man, can get its gases into the Stratosphere at over 100,000 ft – where winds blow constantly at over 100 mph. This is how the Earth had 5 major extinctions in its history. Man’s gases are trapped in the Troposphere, 32,000 ft or lower. You can always see that whenever you’re flying in a jet – especially out of LA, Ca. This is why we don’t get smog from China but they don’t get our Santa Ana Winds either.
