I understand that auto mode might not work properly because of bad sensors and lower air quality standards. But if I set it on a different mode, such as medium fan, is it successful at cleaning the air? And how inaccurate was the pm2.5 reader on average?
Interestingly, my old Xiaomi 2S seems to be increasing speed on auto at lower PM 2.5 readings (in the 20s) and remaining higher until it reaches 10. I’m curious if there has been an update to the firmware.
How inaccurate is the PM2.5 meter on the Xiaomi 3 C/H? I have a Blast Mini ánd a Xiaomi 3C and have been using the measurer on the Xiaomi to monitor the air quality. It is consistently under 005, usually at 003. Should I take this number with a grain of salt? Buying another device just to measure PM2.5 independently stretching my budget a bit.
