Smart Air units now have optional fresh air vents and can be wall-mounted

Smart Air portable air cleaners can be extremely versatile, becoming an adaptable protection layer for hospitals and healthcare settings, offices and other commercial buildings.

For instance, you can install Blast units to deliver HEPA ‘filtered’ air around the building via your existing ducting, or purchase optional fresh air ducts available for the Blast and Blast Mini.

Short on space? The Blast Mini and the SA600 can be installed on walls or within ceiling ducts.

Fresh air vents and wall-mounting options

There are times when you may need localised fresh air in the building or you need to create a Positive Pressure room.

The fresh air vent attachment simply slides into the back. Attach your own flexible pipe then connect to a vent opening drilled through the wall or on the window.

This solution pulls fresh filtered air rather than filtering recirculated air

At just 25kg, the Blast Mini can be secured to the wall with brackets and positioned close to duct outlets in the wall or windows.

This CGI shows how it can be attached front facing with a bend in the flexible pipe, or side facing

In clinical settings, everything needs to be on wheels. While the Blast and Blast Mini come with wheels, these are large space air cleaners.

For smaller spaces like clinical rooms, the SA600 may be more suitable. You can simply purchase a low cost portable moving dolly around 40.5 x 28 x 10 cm (WxDxH) like this one from Amazon or we can purchase this on your behalf.

The dual-inlet SA600 doubles up on filters to provide more
clean air at lower noise levels.

Designed to fit in small spaces, the carry handles at the side double up as notches for wall-mounting. Secure at the sides and the bottom, ensuring it is at least 10cm away from the wall

Innovative clean air solutions

Affordable units from Smart Air led to innovative use of portable air cleaners, especially at the height of the pandemic…

Hospitals use the “cross flow hood” design to bring high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filtration into operating theatres during surgery.  The same level of air filtration can be achieved using high-capacity standalone air purifiers.

Smart Air Philippines solution of 2 x Blast air purifiers delivered 22 Air Changes an Hour (ACH) in each hospital theatre.

Here's a solution delivered by Smart Air India

18 Blast HEPA H13 portable air cleaners were set up in 9 Air Handling Unit (AHU) rooms, facing the AHU filters. This resulted in filtered air delivered across the building via ducting.

Additional air cleaners positioned across 4 floors

Total PM2.5 was reduced by 87%!

The Combined Military Hospital (CMH) created individual patient isolation units by enclosing hospital beds with plastic.

Then a Smart Air Sqair air purifier was fitted to the end of the isolation unit. The Sqair air purifier removes COVID-19 from the air and creates a negative pressurised isolation space that prevents virus spread.

BBC Worldwide in Beijing decided to purchase Blasts and Blast Minis rather than replace the filters in their existing IQ Air purifiers. They calculated that over 3 years, they would save US$25,000!

The Smart Air China team delivered a solution which saw Blast Mini air cleaners installed in the ceiling in rooms lacking floorspace.
