Does this review consider cost of maintenance? Some vendors suggest a lifespan of 2 years for their (HEPA) filters. Sharp is one example, who uses H14 filters, and usually the product warns for replacement. On the other hand, for the Sqair we are toold to replace the filter every 2 months or so (or was it 4, or 6 – I never saw a straight answer). If so, maintaining the Sqair over a year or two may just be more expensive and, eventually, less value for money! Will be happy to be schooled on this 😉
Hello, I’ve been wondering about using a pre-filter with the Sqair as I see a lot of dust balls on the HEPA filter that I shake off the filter by tapping it outside every week or two. I understand that a pre-filter will reduce the effectiveness, but it might increase the HEPA filter life and it may be a useful tradeoff at the cost of some reduced effectiveness. Why is H11 Hepa filter(which has only 95% efficiency) used compared to other better grade HEPA filters?

I stay in Delhi and the pollution is above harzadous level now (AQI around 300-1000) for the past one week. After alot of reading, I decided to buy the sqair and now wondering if I can run it on level 3 for almost 24 hours.
