Are Masks with Valves Less Safe for Capturing Viruses?

We have run tests on masks with valves and there’s no increase in risk for the person wearing the mask. But it does potentially increase the risk of viruses spreading for other people if the person wearing the mask with the valve is infected. That’s because the valve will let our water droplets back into the air, without filtering.
