HEPA filters are made up of sheets of plastic PP fiber material, much like the ones you’ll find in polyester clothes. These are then pleated and glued to increase their surface area.
However, we don’t recommend making your own HEPA filters, as it can be difficult to source for reliable HEPA material. Folding and pleating the material can also damage the fibers if its not done carefully.
