Do the Windows Need to Be Closed When Removing Formaldehyde?

Most would think windows need to be closed but in fact, it will be more effective when the windows are left open! Because open windows will reduce the concentration of formaldehyde which will increase the effectiveness of the purification process. A newly renovated house continues to give off formaldehyde for 2 years, so it’s best to run the purifier before moving in. After moving in, try to open the windows while the carbon filter is in use, and do remember to change the filters when necessary!
