According to Panasonic’s manual, Nanoe is a state-of-the-art technology created by hydrating electrically charged particles, known as anions.

According to California Air Resources Board, Panasonic Nanoe purifier falls into the electronic class of purifier.

2. What is an electronic purifier?

Electronic purifiers may produce a small amount of ozone. Such purifiers specifically include ion generators, electrostatic precipitators, ultraviolet lamps and other air purification technologies. Although the ozone emission concentration is found to be lower than 0.050 ppm after tests, the potential impact on human health still exists.
